Visiting
How to find us: Directions and map.
Looking for a meal or accommodation over Shabbat or Chag? We have members who will gladly take in visitors for a meal. Please contact Rabbi Chaim Strauchler via email or call him at the shul office to make arrangements.
Eruv: The shul is within the community eruv.
Hotels in the Area: The closest hotel is the Holiday Inn Yorkdale (not within the eruv). It is 4.3 km (2.5 miles) - about an hour's brisk walk or 10 minute drive - away from the shul.
Amenities in the Area: It doesn't get much better than this (except perhaps in Israel) in terms of Jewish stores and restaurants! Within a few blocks, there are books/sforim stores, kosher restaurants for every taste (pizza, burgers, chicken, cafes, middle eastern, fine dining, etc), a kosher wine store, a kosher chocolatier, flower shops, a kosher bakery, a 24hr grocery chain store, a kosher fish store, and more.
Jewish Toronto: Look at our Helpful Links section for information about kosher Toronto, resources, and education, or check out the Tourist & Shomer Shabbat Information page of the Doing Jewish In Toronto website.
Other Contacts: See our complete list of synagogue staff or learn more about our clergy. Who do I contact if...?
