Conversion
Shaarei Shomayim works with the Toronto Beis Din in the conversion process. The Beis Din process is not a course, rather it is based on the individual progress of each candidate.
Rabbi Strauchler is a sponsoring rabbi who advises and assists conversion candidates during the conversion process. Rabbi Strauchler attends regular meetings with the Beis Din with conversion candidates that he sponsors. We encourage people interested in conversion to attend services on a weekday and Shabbat morning and to speak with our members to get a sense if this is a good option for their needs.
We welcome conversion candidates into our community to share the beauty of Jewish tradition and learning.
