Welcome to Shaarei Shomayim, a Modern Orthodox community of approximately 700 families, located in the heart of Midtown Toronto within the eruv. We stand for Torah, the Jewish people and the State of Israel. We are constantly building a shul community.

Our precious, beloved Israel is under attack!  

At this critical moment, we cannot stand idly by. Every one of us has a role to play. Our brothers and sisters on the front lines fight with courage and strength — and we must fight alongside them with the power of our voices and our prayers.

The Midrash teaches that in ancient times, for every soldier who went out to battle, another stood behind them in prayer. Just as weapons are needed for war, so too are our Tefillot and our Tehillim.

Let us raise our voices together. Let us storm the heavens. Israel needs not only soldiers — Israel needs us.
