A Message from Youth Director Jacob Posluns

Hello!

My name is Jacob Posluns and I am very excited to be Shaarei Shomayim's Youth Director for this upcoming year of 5776 (2015/16).

I am really looking forward to seeing all of our regular participants return to our programs in September as well as welcoming new youth to give our different programs a try. We offer varied programs from ages 2 and up, and all shul youth are welcome to join us in their age appropriate group.

To help ensure Shaarei Shomayim Youth has another super year, I am joined by a very talented and enthusiastic team: Noa Borden, Assistant Youth Director, Debra Posluns, Head of Preschool Program, Noa Voss and Yoni Hadar, our Israeli 'Shinshinim,' and of course, our devoted team of Youth Leaders. We all work together under the guidance of Rabbi Strauchler, Rabbi Cheses and the Youth Committee to create a positive experience for the children. Our Youth Leadership team really enjoys seeing the smiling faces of our youth as they learn a new game, win a prize, master a mitzvah, or make a new friend while learning about the weekly parsha or davening together during 'tfilla time' with us!
